The Waria Waria is a locally named melaleuca oil, which has a similar profile and properties to eucalyptus. The oil has traditionally been used by villagers in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea for coughs, colds, congestion, pain and infection, as well as applying topically as a natural insect repellent.
